A few words from Romania. We are still in Bucharest, struggling to put our health back on track (Martin with his eyes, me with a tooth – I will have my first artificial tooth and I am not even 30, such quick decay!). If things come out alright, we plan nevertheless to travel around a bit, see the countryside, the mountains and even the seaside.
The weather has been very fickle here, with lots of storms and floods. In some parts of the country whole villages have been destroyed by the waters. Now it seems that summer came back to stay, but you never know… Hopefully it will stay sunny and warm!

But let me see, what are the "universals" that can say something about me... Hmmm... I seem to remain eternally associated with the university life style, in one capacity or another... I appreciate humor, irony and wit... And I hope to possess at least in some small proportion the above mentioned qualities of the mind, checked by a good measure of self-criticism.

do you really plan to get this new (artificial) tooth in romania?!? i mean not that i have sth against this country and i'm one of the few poor guys who actually want them to join the eu, but i think i would always wait until i'm back in germany (or sweden in your case) to get something on my teeth done. hurts already enough over here - don't need a dentist's dracula teeth torture in romania.. :-/
What is going on with this summer for you and Martin? If you get a chance send an email along with a current mailing address - I have a letter for you.
